A cyst is any fluid or air filled sac and when it is formed inside an ovary, it is known as an ovarian cyst. Any follicle in the ovary which is larger than two centimeters is also known as an ovarian cyst. It may be one or many in number and its size can range from a size of a pea to a size even bigger than that of a musk melon.
