In the first part of this article series, we looked at just how different one clothing factory’s sizes are to every other factory’s clothes. In part 2, we’ll be looking at the role of the designer, and why their design is just their opinion of what that size looks like – and why that shouldn’t do a thing to make you feel badly about your body image. The second reason buying clothing off the rack is dangerous to your body image, comes in with the designer. What is comfortable, flattering, elegant, and beautiful in the eyes of one designer is restrictive, uncomplimentary, clumsy and ugly for another.
