Yeast infections are caused by a fungus that is a normal part of the population of microorganisms on our body, Candida Albicans. This population of fungi, yeasts, and bacteria lives in a constant state of balance and are usually beneficial to our body. However, when Candida Albicans gets into the vagina, then it can cause certain problems.
