Most doctors usually prescribe antibacterial prescription drugs to treat this condition; this treatment option is very effective in eradicating the infection of bacteria in the vaginal area; the only problem of this method is that antibiotics do not know how to distinguish between good and bad bacteria. Consequently, the good bacteria are also eliminated; thereby causing an imbalance of vaginal pH level.
